MORTAR SULFUR  TYPE B ACCORDING NF P 18-416  

The mortar sulfur SNL TYPE B is a hot melt mortar ready for the polishing of concrete and mortar at high and very high performance. Laboratory tested for concrete up to 120 MPa,

It is guaranteed by the S NL for the surfacing of specimens whose resistances are between 0 and 100 MPa.

Traditional surfacing are made from a mixture 60% sulfur and 40% sand with a nearby compressive strength of 24 M Pa, that is very far from that of BHP and VHPC. It follows, when such concrete is surfaced with this mixture of differences between the actual value and the value obtained or remote mechanical resistance values of reality.

Mortar Type B SNL is a composition based on sulfur, easy to use, molding hot and cold with high mechanical strength, which minimizes deviations between specimens of the same series and get the mechanical resistance values closest to reality.     

APPLICATION

Surfaces of all specimens mortars or concretes with strengths up to 100 MPa. Strongly recommended for specimens with the resistors are greater than 60 MPa.

Mortar Type B SNL should be heated to a temperature between 130 and 135 ° C in order to have the desired fluidity. This temperature must be maintained during use; lower or higher temperatures result in a thicker product.

Mortar Type B SNL should be well homogenized before and during use to avoid sedimentation loads (note that this is also true for traditional surfacing mixture: sulfur / sand).
