<h2 class="wp-block-heading">USAGE</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is used on public works sites to measure the bulk density of soils and granular materials. It is used with the “Sand Densitometer” device.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CHARACTERISTICS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This sand is made of dry natural siliceous sand (silica content higher than 97 %), the water content of which is lower than 0,1 %. It is free from flocculent particles, silt, clay and organic matter. The constituent grains of the sand are uncrushed and round-shaped.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sand is packaged in 25 kg bags.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The grading of replacement sand is according to BS 1377-9 and ASTM®* D 1556.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sand is of the natural siliceous type with a water content of less than 0.1%. The constituent grains of these sands are uncrushed and round-shaped. It has a silica content greater than 98%</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Its granulometric curve is adapted to avoid any compaction effect as soon as the sandbox is correctly sized.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DELIVERY</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sand is packaged in 25 kg bags, and our pallets can contain from 2 to 48 bags.</p>
