<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CHARACTERISTICS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sand is natural siliceous sand with a water content lower than 0.1 %. The constituent grains are uncrushed and round-shaped. They have a silica content higher than 98%.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is packaged in polyethylene bag of 1000 ± 10 g.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deliveries are made in boxes of 20 bags weighing 20.5 kg and in pallets of 36 to 45 boxes with a gross weight of 750 to 935 kg, suitably protected by a polyethylene cover (road transport) or reinforced boxes (international).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CONTROLS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Grading requirement of this sand is fixed by NF T 66-061. It corresponds to 0.1/0.63. The sand average grading is:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CHARACTERISTICS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The silica fines S.N.L for breaking index of emulsions EN 13075 1-2 is a fine sand of the same origin as the old Sikaisol -Annex B</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Following the stock shortage of SIKAISOL sand, the S.N.L developed and perfected a sand that could meet the requirements of the standard &#8216;Determination of the breaking index of cationic bitumen emulsions, Mineral fines method&#8217; EN 13075 1-2 by applying a Forshammer correction coefficient of 0.94.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Important notice: According to the EN 13075-1 standard, there are 3 standardized reference products on the market: Forshammer, Sikaisol and Q92; the S.N.L. product is not yet integrated into the standard as a replacement for Sikaisol.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The advantage of this new sand is its replicability.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>The silica content is stable at +98% (which is a guarantee of stability of the chemistry compared to products composed of different materials)</li>



<li>The production is carried out in a mechanical and industrial way (screened and mixed): this allows us to ensure the physical stability of the product</li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The product is available in 5 kg or 25 kg buckets</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The standardized reference fines Q92 (formerly Kaolin Q92) are indicated in the standard for determining the Rupture Index of Cationic Bitumen Emulsions (IREC) EN 13075-1.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to the EN 13075-1 standard, there are 3 standardized reference filers on the market: Forshammer, Sikaisol and Q92.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Q92 is packaged in hermetic 25 kg buckets after sampling, sieving and homogenization. Each batch is accompanied by a certificate of particle size analysis produced by an independent materials study centre to guarantee compliance with the particle size range of the standard.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Measurement of the average depth of the macro-texture surface of a road surface (road and airport), using a volumetric technique on site according to standard EN 13036-1 concerning tests related to pavements&#13;
&#13;
Note: NF EN 13036-1 replaced the old standard NF P98-216-1 whose control material was a sand HSV and of which SNL still has stock in bags of 1KG)</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The method can be used on a wide range of surfaces. Nevertheless, caution should be exercised in the interpretation of results when the measured depth is outside the interval (0.25 – 5 mm) <strong>  </strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CHARACTERISTICS</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The glass beads, fully spherical and calibrated, are clean, dry, prepared in a modern workshop offering all guarantees of quality and regularity.</p>
